Donald Eugene Jackson, 83, of Taylorville passed away July 29, 2011 at 7:10 p.m. at his residence. He was born March 30, 1928 in Paris, IL the son of Dick and Elsie (Bolt) Jackson. He married Barbara Hayes on September 27, 1949 in Mulberry Grove. He was a retired manager of Massey Ferguson Implement and tractor stores. He loved small tractor pulling, building new pulling tractors, to work on his tractors, received many trophies and prizes through the years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ramsey and the Christian County Tractor Pullers Association.

He is survived by his Wife Barbara, Sons Rodney (Carol) Jackson of Edinburg, Joe (Vicki) Jackson of Taylorville, 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers Buck, Joe Jackson, Sister Ruth (Jackson) Childers.

Visitation will be Monday August 1, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Funeral Services will be Tuesday August 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pastor Steve Switzer will be the Minister. Memorials can be made to The American Cancer Society P.O.
