David Lee Anderson, 51, of Taylorville passed away September 5, 2011 at 9:05 at his residence in Taylorville.  He was born September 14, 1959 in Alexandria, VA, the son of Donald and Alverna Fay (True) Anderson Sr.  He was a high school graduate with 12 years of education.

He is survived by Step-Father Leonard Nail of Mt. Auburn, IL; sons, Justin Kennedy and Rob Watson both of Taylorville; David Harvey of Lincoln, IL. Daughter, Alicia (Lawrence) Harris of Springfield, IL., brothers, Don (Geneva) Anderson of Mt. Auburn and Bruce (Caroline) Anderson of Taylorville. Sisters, Carolyn (Chuck) Carter of Blue Mound, IL, Deb (Dennis) Sanders of Taylorville, Aunt and uncle Tom (Leona) True of Mt. Auburn, IL. 2 grand children, 7 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Don Anderson Sr., Mother Alverna Fay (True) Nail, Uncle Leon True.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Mt Auburn Cemetary, Mt. Auburn, IL with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial wll be in Mt. Auburn Cemetary, Mt. Auburn, IL.  Vistation will be Wednesday September 7, 2011 from 5pm to 7pm at the Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, IL.
