Louis M. Cirar, 98, of Taylorville, IL (formerly Chicago), passed away at 2:55 a.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.  He was born October 17, 1912 in Oak Creek, CO., the son of Louis and Mary Cirar.  He married Mary A. Bukovsky in Chicago, IL and she preceded him in death on April 14, 2001. Mr. Cirar was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Taylorville.

He is survived by his son Louis Cirar, Jr. of Prospect Heights, IL and daughter, Marlene (Richard) Koski of Chicago; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 Thursday, September 8, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Alan Hunter officiating.  Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetary. Condolences may be sent online at www.mcclurefuneralhome.com
