Dwight Alan Frasier 66 of Taylorville passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:55am in Taylorville Memorial Hospital. He was born April 24, 1946 in Washington, IL the son of Gus and Anna Waud (Pivonka) Frasier. He married Dana Richards on June 6, 1966. He was a coal miner at Peabody Coal Mine #10 for 25 years. He retired from Garrett Aviation after 10 years of service. He was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam from 1966-1968. His generosity, talents and sense if humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His is survived by Wife Dana, Daughters Dani (Dean) Moore of Edinburg, IL, Grandsons Dakota Griffiths and Frasier Moore both of Edinburg, IL, Step-Grandchildren John (Toni) Moore and Kurtis (Michelle) Moore all of Kentucky, Brother Trent (Libby) Frasier of Iron Station, NC, Sisters Maureen (Ed) Ridgeway of Rochester, IL, Sharla (Ronny) Wenzel of Hamilton, TX, Gayla Frasier of Chula Vista, CA, Tanya (Terry) Scovern of Springfield, IL and Pamela Tomizoli of Beloit, WI, Sisters-In-Law Sherry (the late Harry) Hallowell of Foley, AL and Kim (Greg) Fields of Springfield, IL, Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Step-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded by his Parents.

There will be no visitation but A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
