Brandy Nicholle McConnell, 30, of Edinburg, passed away January 22, 2012 at 1:40pm at her residence in Edinburg.  She was born September 6, 1981 in Decatur, the daughter of Daniel D. McConnell and Patricia J. Davidson McConnell.  She graduated from the Edinburg High School system, was active in softball and volleyball.  She loved her Labradors and sports very much. 

She is survived by father: Daniel D. McConnell of Edinburg, Mother and step-father Patricia J. (Timothy) Valtille of Riverton; paternal grandfather Robert McConnell of Edinburg; maternal grandparents, Bradley W. and Barbara L. Dunn of Decatur; brother, Brent (Teri) Barnett of Riverton; sister Mindy Barnett of Connecticut; 2 nieces, several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise McConnell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00am Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Linda Vonck officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2012, from 5-8pm at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
