Kevin Michael Blair, 51, of Taylorville, passed away at 6:38am Thursday, March 15, 2012 at his residence.  He was born October 19, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Keith and Georgia Kathleen Michael Blair.  On September 10, 2011 he married Deborah Lynn Donley at the First Baptist Church in Stonington.  He was the manager at Wal-Mart in Mt Zion, IL and was a former manager at the Taylorville Wal-Mart.  He was affiliated with the Lutheran Church.  He loved his work and the associates he worked with, loved golfing, the Cardinals and sports and especially enjoyed vacationing in Gulf Shores, AL.  He coached basketball and football for Wal-Mart at the YMCA and he was very active in various fundraising events in the communities where he worked.  He also enjoyed the companionship of his dog Moe.

He is survived by his wife: Debbie of Taylorville, son: Will Blair of Bloomington, 2 daughters: Ashley Blair of St Louis and Jennifer Blair of Jacksonville, step daughter: Kayla Donley of Decatur, sister: Katie Dedmon and husband Mike of Oklahoma City, OK, and a brother: WIlliam "Bill" Blair and wife Leslie of Visalia, CA, father in law and mother in law: Darrell and Joyce Church of Stonington.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday, March 19, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Stonington with Rev William Mitchell.  Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service in the church on Monday.  Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery.  McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
