James Richard Wicker, 59, of Taylorville, passed away Friday March 23, 2012 at 9:35am at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born July 7, 1952 in Taylorville, the son of Wilbur and Evelyn McDonald Wicker. He married Annette Prasun on November 7, 1991, in Taylorville. . He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of the Ham Radio Operator, CCQMA, and the Southern Baptist Church in Taylorville. He liked to camp, fish, play his guitar, his Ham Radio and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife: Annette Wicker; son: Laramy Oller of Taylorville; daughters: Amber Oller of Decatur, Jamie Davis of Cookville, TN; grandchildren: Malorie Oller, Emma Oller of Taylorville, Quentin Miller, Brooklyn Miller, Mackenzie Miller of Decatur, Hannah, Taylor, Makenzie of Cookville, TN; sister: JoAnn (David) Hafliger, Carolyn Diedrick, Sandy (Larry) Blakey, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Mary Alice; brothers: Jack and Charles.

Cremation rites will be accorded Funeral service which will be at a later date with Pastor Jim Augustine officiating. Memorials can be sent out to the American Cancer Society.
