Lyman Paul Vancil, 93, of Edinburg, passed away March 25, 2012 at 12:20am at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville.

He married Nylene B Leinen on March 16. 1945 in Springfield, IL. She preceded him in death hon December 11, 1994. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by Daughter in Law Sharon (Rick) Lockhart of Edinburg, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, wife: Nylene, son: Timothy, sisters: Florence, Marcella Vangeison and Evelyn Rusher and brother: Harold A. Vancil: brothers in law: Earl Vangeison, Charles Rusher and Charles Dewhirst.

Vistation will be from 5pm to 8 pm, Monday, April 2, 2012 at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Funeral services will be at 10 am, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Interment will be at Morrisonville Cemetery with Rev. Ted Marrinan officiating.
