Dorothy Opal Copenbarger, 75, of Mt. Auburn, passed away April 4, 2013 at 8:05 a.m. at Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1937 in Mt. Auburn, IL. The Daughter of Robert Lee and Arena Temperance McCoy Copenbarger. She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Christian Church in Mt. Auburn, IL and Berea Booster Club.Dorothy spent her lifetime living in Mt. Auburn, IL and was very loyal to her church.

She is survived by her Brothers: Marvin (Shirley) Copenbarger of Mt. Auburn, IL; Dale (Erma) Copenbarger of Mt. Auburn, IL; Sister: Verna (Clem) Diesen of Effingham, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at Berea Christian Church in Mt. Auburn, ILwith Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery, Mt. Auburn, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2:00-5:00pm at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
