Patsy Witt, 76, of Taylorville, passed away March 10, 2012 st 6:15pm at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville.  She was born July 10, 1935 in Bloomington, the daughter of Robert and Matty (Coyle) Parido.  She married Phillip A. Witt in March, 1957 in Bloomington.  He preceded her in February, 2011.  She worked at Taylorville School District #3. 

He is survived by sons; Donald (Sarah) Witt and Stephen (Tammy) Witt both of Taylorville; brother, Ronald (Barbara) Parido of Bloomington; sister, Georgia Lane of Bloomington; sister-in-law, Barb Parido of Leroy; nine grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-father, Charles Erps, great-grandchild, Ethan Witt, brother, Donald Parido, sister, Betty Hall, brothers-in-law Reed Lane and Allen Hall, and sister-in-law, JoAnn Parido.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00am in Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Lyle Thomas officiating.  Interment will be in Fraley Cemetery in Taylorville.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 from 9:00-11:00am at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
