Virginia B. Kurczek, 89, of Taylorville, passed away on November 11, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born January 28, 1924 in Chicago, IL; the daughter of Matthew and Julia (Zegar) Zwieczkowski. She married George Kurczek, he preceded her in 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville, the Catholic Daughters and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose. She loved gardening and cooking. She is survived by her nephews, Robert (Dawn) Zwick of Taylorville, IL and Brent Zwick of Peoria, IL; many great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents, husband George, brothers, Ted and Gene.
