Lou Belle Prior 99, of Taylorville, IL (formerly of Mt. Auburn), passed away September 6, 2011 at 5:02 am at Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Taylorville.  She was born December 30, 1911 in Rural Mechanicsburg IL, daughter of David & Margaret (Dobson) Dillon.  She married Harvey Prior on November 24, 1928 in Sangamon County, IL.  She was a homemaker and retired from Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.  She was a member of the Taylorville Christian Church. She loved her family and spending time with them. She also liked to crochet and work on puzzle books.  She enjoyed visiting with her friends.

She is survived by son, Lloyd (Elaine) Prior of Taylorville,IL, daughters, Eileen Ealey of Cerro Gordo, IL and Phyllis (Frank) Harty Jr. of Mt. Auburn, IL., brothers, Russell (Nina) Dillon of GA and Melvin Dillon of Mitchell, IN. Sisters, Edith Henderson of Bolivia, IL and Pearl Dillon of Springfield, IL. Sister-in-law Sharol Dillon of Springfield, IL and 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and 1 great great great great granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson;Lyle, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11:00am at the Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, IL. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetary, Mt. Auburn, IL with Rev. Richard Wamsley officiating.  Visitation will be held at 10:00 - 11:00 am Friday September 9, 2011. at the Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.
