Sally J. (Kerwin) Hathaway, 56, of Taylorville, passed away September 13, 2011 at 1:30am at her residence in Taylorville.  She was born November 27, 1954 in Taylorville, the daughter of William and Carol (Phillips) Kerwin.  She married Edwin Hathaway in September, 1991 in San Bernardino, CA.  She was an office manager and homemaker.  She was a member of the Church of God in Kincaid, Il. and a 1987 graduate of the Adelphi Business School in San Bernardino, CA.

She is survived by her husband Edwin; sons, Sam Bethard of Morrisonville and Daniel Carter of Chicago; daughters, Lori Ryan of Blue Mound, Dee Bradley of Seattle, WA.; step-daughters, Sheila Hathaway of Joshua, TX and Dorinda Hunt of Redlands, CA: brother, Steve Kerwin of Taylorville; sister Sharon McQuire of Taylorville; 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father William Kerwin, sister, Sarah Kerwin and uncle Donald Kerwin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00am in Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville with Pastor Mike Mayberry officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.  Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 10:00am-11:00am at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
