Evelyn Mansfield, 87, of Morrisonville, passed away November 5, 2012 at 9:45 at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born October 31, 1925 in Morrisonville, the daughter of Steve and Christina Leonard Sparks. She married Kenneth Mansfield on December 2, 1944 in Taylorville, and preceded her on November 25, 1984. She was a retired homemaker, a member of the American Legion, and Fairview United Methodist Church in Nokomis, IL.

She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Waterman of Nokomis; 2 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Noella Fixsal of Taylorville and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded by parents and her husband,

Funeral services will be held Friday November 9, 2012 at 11am at Fairview United Methodist Church in Nokomis  with Rev. Rick Miles officiating. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis. Visitation will be held Friday November 9, 2012 from 9am to 11am at Fairview United Methodist Church in Nokomis.
