Mackenzie Renee (Kenzie) Moreland, 14, of Taylorville passed away October 29, 2011 at 8:30am at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born June 29, 1997, the daughter of Ronald and Erika Sidener Moreland. She was member of: the cheerleading squad for Edinburg High School, South Fork Christian Church, Rochester, student council, Edinburg FFA Chapter, and Power Plus Tumbling. She loved shopping with her sister Dariess, riding ATVs, being with friends. Her loving smile will be missed by all.

She is survived by parents,  sister Dariess Moreland of Taylorville, grandparents: Ron and Sandra Moreland of Taylorville, Jerry and Tammy Sidener of Springfield, great grandmother Lorene Brown of Milberry Grove, IL, Aunts/Uncles: Bobby (Sue) Davis of Edinburg, Stephanie (Rodney) Gatton of Kincaid, Sue Miur of Millbrook, IL, Jim (Penny) Beck of Evergreen, CO, Nina (Max) Branum of Edinburg, cousins: Jeremy Davis, Brad Wagahoff, Jared Davis, Katie Vocal, Andrew Gatton, Rodney (Katie) Gatton, William Gatton, Matt (Jenny) Branun, Nicole (Jason) Moore. She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Pat Sidener; Great grandfather: Lloyd Brown, Aunt Renee Sidener.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Edinburg High School Gymnasium, Edinburg with Pastor Josh Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Edinburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday November 2, 2011, from 4:00-8:00pm at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Memorials can be sent to the Edinburg High School.
