Wayne K Johnson, 82, of Taylorville died on December 2, 2011 at 12:07pm at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital. He was born July 7, 1929 in Nokomis, IL. the son of Henry and Ruth Buse Johnson. He married Mary L. Wright in Austin, TX June 17, 1951. He was a retired barber, a veteran of the US Air Force, and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Taylorville. He is survived by his wife, Mary, brothers: Orville (Dorothy) Johnson of Nokomis, and Ronald Lolita Johnson of Arlington, TX, sister-in-law: Helen (Robert) Brown of Taylorville, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Eldon Johnson. Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2011 from 6-8pm at the Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville with Pastor Rodney Blomquist officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
