Jacqueline S. Thomas, 69, of Taylorville, passed away January 21, 2013 at 1:32 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL. She was born November 25, 1943 in Taylorville, IL. The Daughter of Roy George and Marge (Cordray) Gillock. She married Kenneth D. Thomas Jr. on February 2, 1962 in Urbana, IL and he later preceded her in death in 1966. She was an LPN at St. Vincents Memorial Hospital in Taylorville for over 30 years.

She is survived by her Sons:  Kenneth D. (Karen) Thomas III of Springfield, IL, Richard L. (Kim) Thomas of Lavernia, TX; Daughter: Susan Noelle (Thomas) William Patton of Mechanicsburg, IL; Grandchildren: Nelida Patton (Chase) Ramirez, Naarah Patton, N’Shell Patton, Niesa Patton, Will David Patton, Benjamin Thomas, Zebulon Thomas, Faith Thomas, Leah Thomas; Great-Grandchildren: Emanuel Tomas Ramirez, Kenneth Curtis Patton; Brothers: George David (Beverly) Gillock of North Ridgeville, OH, Joseph (Barb) Gillock of Mt. Auburn, IL; Sister: Teresa (Jon) Andersen of Albert Lea, MN; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00am at United Methodist Church in Mt. Auburn with Pastor Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
