Mary Ann Staunder, 84, of Nokomis, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 3:35 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. She was born November 12, 1928 in Raymond, IL. The Daughter of Cecil and Beula (Nettleship) Niehaus. She married Marvin Stauder on October 26, 1950 in Nokomis and he later preceded her in death on April 13, 2010. She had retired as the owner and operator of the candy store in Nokomis.

She is survived by her Son: James (Lynne) Stauder of Nokomis, IL; Daughters: Sally (Doug) Keenan of Pana, IL; Sandra Stauder of Chatham, IL; Five Grandchildren; Ten Great-Grandchildren; Sister-in-Law: Geraldine Stauder of Nokomis, IL Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Suzanne Stauder.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis with Rev. Ric Miles officiating. Burial will be in St. Raymond Cemetery in Raymond, IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 p.m. at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis.
