Deborah Sue Willhoit, 60, of Springfield, IL, passed away March 8, 2013 at 1:02 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born November 26, 1952 in Indiana, PA. The Daughter of Kenneth H. and Leola I. Thornton Conant. She married Richard Willhoit on September 7, 1991 in Springfield, IL. She was a purchasing agent for the Auditor General of The State of Illinois. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springfield, IL, Central Illinois Walk to Emmaus, Lay witness Mission, and Stephen’s Ministry. She enjoyed camping, visiting people and she was a prayer warrior.

She is survived by her Husband: Richard; Daughter: Christina (Kirk) Hammer of Edelstein, IL; Grandchildren: Jessica Bourland, Joe Bourland, Colton Hammer, Kaylee Hammer; Brothers: Lloyd C. (Margie) Conant of Taylorville, IL; David L. (Barb) Conant of Witt, IL; Brother-in-Law: James A. (Carolyn) Willhoit of Ohio; Peggy A. (Lee) Smith of Springfield, IL; Nephews: James Conant, Rick Conant, Jeff Conant, Mike Conant, Todd Willhoit, Robert Smith, Ken Khun; Nieces: Amanda (Ken) Khun, Leighann Irons, Cari Smith, Amy Willhoit.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 at 7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Springfield, IL with Rev. Roger Ross and Rev. Bob Swickard officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 from 4:00-7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Springfield, IL.
