Glen L. Dyer, 72, of Taylorville, passed away May 20, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born September 26, 1940 in Virginia, IL. The Son of Joseph Glen and Margerite Trene (Mclin) Dyer. He married Patsy Wilkerson on October 6, 1962 in Springfield, IL. He worked as a phone operator.

He is survived by his Wife: Patsy; Son: Jeff Dyer of Taylorville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00pm at Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Taylorville with Pastor Eric Stillwellofficiating. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Taylorville.
