Frank E. Vincent, 86, of Taylorville, passed away on June 24, 2013 at 6:20 p.m. at his residence in Taylorville, IL. He was born March 4, 1927 in Bement, IL; the son of John and Hester (West) Vincent. He married Maxine Durbin on October 30, 1943 at the Stonington Methodist Church, Stonington, IL. He worked for Garwood Seed Company for over 60 years; until it closed, then he worked for farmers. He enjoyed recycling metal to keeping busy, boating and camping. He water skied until he was 80 yrs. old. He also enjoyed pulling and working on garden tractors with his son Mike.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; sons: Gene (Janet) Vincent and Mike (Suzanne) Vincent both of Decatur, IL; daughters: Kay King of Decatur, Sharon (Dwane) Downs of Stonington, IL, and Judy (Bruce) Berry Decatur; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister: Dorothy (Elwood) Moffett of Stonington, IL, Mary (Harry) Elliott of Mt. Auburn, IL and Nola (Leland) Lefever of Palmer, IL ; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Eunice White; brothers: Willard Vincent, Ernie Vincent, Chuck Vincent, Warren Vincent and Fred Vincent.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Jym Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery in Stonington. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL
