Joyce Ann Miller, 89, of Taylorville, passed away on October 31, 2013 at 6:45 a.m.at the Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born June 7, 1924 in Carterville, IL; the Paul and Edna Alice (Alexander) Upchurch. She married Thomas Lloyd Breckenridge on July 17, 1945. He preceded her in passing on April 18, 1989. Then on November 17, 1990 she married Gerald Miller, he preceded her on April 4, 2010. She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Class of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville, and the Arcana Chapter #493 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Peggy) Breckenridge and Steven (Rose) Breckenridge both of Taylorville; step-daughters, Thelma L. Harbert of Taylorville and Linda A. Zanyk of Miami, FL; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; brother, George (Natalie) Upchurch of Taylorville. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, grandsons, Nathan and Ryan; sisters, Genevieve Buchanan and Virginia Vedas; step-son, Gerald Miller Jr.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. A private family burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
