Natalie A. Sanders, 83, of Taylorville, IL died at 7:11 pm Tuesday, March 4, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 4, 1930 in Roby, IL the daughter of Clarence A. and Pearl J. Cummins Porter. On October 11, 1947 she married Paul H. Sanders in Springfield. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2007. Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and a member of Midland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the Christian County Senior Citizens Center and the Kincaid Senior Citizens Center, and was a former member of the Lioness Club in Taylorville.

Surviving are her son: Dennis Sanders and wife Debbie of Taylorville and Daughters: Paula Lenger of Kentwood, MI and Martha Bowsher and husband Jim of Taylorville. Grandchildren: Stephen Lenger and wife Tara, Laura Aulbach and husband Gordy, D.J. Sanders, Chad Sanders and wife Erin, Joshua Sanders and wife Kelli, Jill Ridgley and husband Jerry, and Caleb Bowsher and wife Hope. Great Grandchildren: Treat Lenger, Emaline Lenger, Justin Scott, Khayli Scott, Lauryn Scott, Austyn Stiner, Shaylie Sanders, Gabe Shultz, Mason Clay, Faith Clay, Aryonna Sanders, Noah Sanders, Chaylee Sanders, Mina Sanders, Hunter Sanders, Savanna Ruppert, Brody Ridgley, and Grace Ridgley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Son: Darrel Sanders, Great Granddaughter: Anjill Natalie Ruppert; Brother and sisters: Charles Porter, Claude Porter, Norma Stone, Cliff Porter, Mildred Haubold, Marcella Alsbury, and Mae Porter.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 9 at McClure Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Vonck officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 10 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.
