Donna Genette Adams, 67, of Raymond, IL died at 8:25 pm Monday, November 3, 2014 at her residence.

She was born April 10, 1947 in Hall Summit, Louisiana, the daughter of Joseph Albert and Zeola Carter Griffin. On January 22, 1966 she married David Samuel Adams in Haughton, Louisiana. Mrs. Adams was the Director of Medical Records at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Raymond Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed reading, travelling, working in her church and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband: David S. Adams of Raymond; Son: Richard S. Adams and wife Dawna of Kincaid; Daughter: Rhonda Kay Pruitt and husband Rex of Taylorville. Grandchildren: Nicole Adams, David Adams, Zachary Adams, Amanda Adams, Olivia Pruitt, and Rexton Pruitt. Sister: JoAnn Heady and husband Jim of Shreveport, Louisiana. She is also survived by a good friend, Sandy Harris of Benton, LA who was with her through her illness

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church in Raymond.
