Thomas Kendall Tracey, Sr. 82 of Taylorville, IL passed away at 4:25 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born August 28, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland son of Thomas K. and Mary (Kendall) Thomas.  He married Alma Lee Vance in 1952 in Winchester, VA and she preceded him in death on June 3, 2012.

He is survived by his sons: Thomas K. Tracey, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Taylorville, IL, Steven K. Tracey and companion Cori Reed of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Kendall, Carly and Michael Tracey; Great Grandchildren: Kara and Jarred Tracey. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife and Brother Robert Tracey.

He had retired as a Supervisor after working many years for Peabody Coal.  He had served his Country in the United States Army.  He enjoyed and was very talented with wood working and model airplanes.  Most of all, he loved his family, especially his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Reverend James Wolfe officiating.
