Donna D. Manuel, 61, of Taylorville, IL died at 12:30 pm Monday, November 10, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

She was born April 6, 1953 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Alvie and Mildred Jordan Prior. On March 30, 1979 she married Gary L. Manuel in Kincaid, IL. Mrs. Manuel was a homemaker and also worked as a Zumba instructor at the Dance Factory, a secretary for Bob Hamer, and was employed with the State of California Department of Corrections as Supervisor of the Grounds Crew.

Surviving is her husband Gary Manuel of Taylorville; Son: Brad Manuel and wife Monnica of Salt Lake City, UT; Grandchildren: Angelica Manuel Lehr and husband Zachary, Isabella Manuel, and Caleb Manuel; Sisters: Karen Foraker and husband Les of Taylorville, Paula Hagen and husband Craig of Taylorville, Phyllis Nation of Taylorville, Judy Saucier of Decatur, Sandy Hott of Everett, WA, and Wanda Elam and husband Steve of Palmer.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville at 11:00 am Friday, November 14 with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service.
