Betty J. Buzzingham, 81 of Taylorville passed away at 11:30 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Taylorville Care Center.  She was born December 31, 1932 in Witt, IL the daughter of James and Ann (Brownsides) Hampton.  She married Robert Buzzingham on June 29, 1957 in Taylorville, IL. She was a member of the American Legion Post #73 in Taylorville.

She is survived by her husband Robert Buzzingham; Son: Kenneth Koches of Taylorville, IL; Daughter: Candice (Bradley) Spent of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Shane Koches, Amanda McMillan, Madison Spent, Ashley Spent; Great Grandchildren: Haley McMillan, Zachary McMillan; Sister: Darlene (Robert) Durbin of Taylorville; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Daughter, Barbara Koches, Brothers, Harold Hampton, Jimmy Hampton, Johnny Hampton, Donny Hampton; Duaghter-In-Law Lila Koches

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home.
