Roberta Louise (Hayes) Sanders,  90, of Taylorville, passed away on May 18, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born on January 10, 1924 in Ramsey, IL;  the daughter of  Oral and Ethel (Hill) Hayes. She married LeRoy Sanders on November 9, 1940 in Ramsey, IL.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville, IL.

She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Sanders of Taylorville, IL; daughter: Sandra (Rick) Kaiser of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Ronda (Brent) Thomas, Kim Gobble and Aaron Copeland; great grandchildren: Jake, Blake, Josh, Maddison, Brayden, Jared, Bayli and McKinlee; brothers: Leo (Juanita) Hayes and Rex (Mary Jean) Hayes both of Ramsey, IL; sisters: Barb Jackson of Taylorville, IL and  Betty (Troy) Radford of Pana, IL. She was preceded in passing by her parents and brother-in-law: Don Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville, IL. Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating, Burial will be at  Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.
