Nilda L. Adams, 69 of Mt. Auburn passed away at 1:38 PM, Friday, October 31, 2014 at Fair Haven Christian Home in Decatur, IL.  She was born October 16, 1945 in Gillespie, IL daughter of Herbert and DeEtt (Walker) Krieger.  She married Russell Adams on February 20, 1965 in Gillespie and he survives her in Mt. Auburn. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Mt. Auburn, and the Lutheran Church in Gillespie earlier in life.  She loved to volunteer at Fair Haven Christian Home for numerous years.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Russell, she is survived by her Brothers: John (Ann) Krieger of Winder, GA; Calvin Krieger of Yelm, WA; Lyle (Cathy) Krieger of Walshville, IL; Step-Brother, Wayne (Pat) Krieger of Gillespie, IL; Step-Sister, Wanda Wetherington of Dorchester, IL  and numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Sutton Memorial Home with Pastor James Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn.
