Mrs. Thelma J. “Babe” Wilson, 93, of Taylorville, IL formerly of Bulpitt, IL passed away at 3:15 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2014 in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL

She was born in November 9, 1921 the daughter of William and Edith (Telford) Crane. She married Eugene A. Wilson in 1938 in Centralia, IL and he preceded her in death July 5, 1980.

Mrs. Wilson has lived in Taylorville for the past 22 years, prior to that she lived in Bulpitt for about 50 years. She attended Centralia High School and St. Rita’s Catholic Church. Babe, as she was affectionately known, loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Surviving are 2 daughters Pam (husband Frank) Lanzotti and Gayla (husband LaVerne) Moliske all of Taylorville, IL 6 grandchildren Julie (Mike) Mayer, Cathy (Tad) Craggs, Mick (Lori) Moliske, Leanne Urbina, Anthony Lanzotti, and Andrew Lanzotti along with a sister Beverly Manfucci of Carlyle, IL a brother Howard Crane of Orion, IL and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday November 28, 2014 at Masterson Funeral Home, Kincaid, IL. Fr. Alan Hunter will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services at Masterson Funeral Home.
