Andrew Clarence Dean Gatton, 16, of Kincaid, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 6:15 p.m. on IL Rt. 104 following a traffic accident. He was born June 19, 1998 in Springfield, IL. The Son of Rodney and Stephanie (Moreland) Gatton. He worked as a cook at McDonalds in Taylorville.

He is survived by his Parents: Rodney and Stephanie Gatton Sr. of Kincaid, IL; Brothers: Rodney (Kathryn) Gatton Jr. of Ft. Hood, TX; William Gatton of Kincaid, IL; Sisters: Katherine Coval of Kincaid, IL; Grandparents: Ron and Saundra Moreland of Taylorville, IL; Clarence and Karen Gatton of Petersburg, IL; Great-Grandmother: Lorene Brown of Mulberry Grove, IL; Niece and Nephew: Kendal Turner of Fort Hood, TX; Joel Gatton of Fort Hood, TX; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents: Paul and Mary Moreland; Great-Grandfather: Loyd L. Brown; Grandmother Anna Mae Hatter; Cousin: Mackenzie Moreland.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Randal Garrett officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday, February 9, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
