Marilyn Elinor Hall, 88, of Taylorville passed away at 6:15AM, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. John’s Hospice, Springfield.  She was born on September 11, 1926 in Taylorville, the daughter of F.M. “Binks” & Edwina Barnes Martin.  She married Charles Hall on February 14, 1947 in Taylorville.  He preceded her in death on April 30, 1990.  Marilyn served as Deputy Clerk in the Christian County Clerks Office and was a teacher at St. Mary’s School.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed drinking coffee at Rene’s, shopping for shoes, and spending time with her family and her grand-dog Shadow.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Mary Linda Graham of Taylorville, John Hall (wife Kathy) of Lexington, Illinois, and Julie Colantino (husband Stephen) of Springfield; grandchildren: Kimberly Fishburn (husband Philip), Chris Hall, Karen Kuntzman (husband Chris), Shannon LeFave (husband Ken), Traci Evans (husband Otis), Anthony Colantino, and Dena Colantino; 9 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son-in-law: Tom Graham.  

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville with Fr. Alan Hunter officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 Saturday at the church.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.  Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s School, or the Christian County Animal Control
