Gerald Alan Bucshon, 77, of Kincaid, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at 8:34 a.m. at his residence. He was born October 20, 1937 in Kincaid, IL. The Son of Frank and Gladys (Smith) Bucshon. He married Nancy Lucas on September 23, 1961 in Walnut, IL and she later preceded him in death on December 11, 2011. He was a retired Coal Miner at Peabody Mine # 10. He was also a Veteran of the United States Navy for 4 years; he was a member of the Kincaid American Legion and the United Mine Workers of America. He loved Sports, Hunting and Fishing. 

 
He is survived by his Daughter: Tamara “Tammy” Bucshon and Fiancé Aaron Sutton of Taylorville, IL; Gerald (Debbie) Bucshon of Kincaid, IL; Bridget (Richard) Slezak of Henderson, NV; Grandchildren: Joshua (Allison) Kirchhoff of Goreville, IL; Brittany Durkin and Fiancé Rocky Markham of Macon, IL; Thomas Bennis of New York; Lindsay Kirchhoff of Kincaid, IL; Courtney Kirchhoff of Kincaid, IL; Ryan Bucshon of Kincaid, IL; Tyler Bucshon of Kincaid, IL; Tristan Slezak of Henderson, NV; Rylie Slezak of Henderson, NV. Brother: Ronald (Barbara) Bucshon of Kincaid, IL; Sister: Sherry Bucshon of Springfield, IL; Several Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Larry Bucshon and a Son, Kevin Bucshon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Don Bettis officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in Rural Edinburg, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
