Shawn Westbrook, 30, of Taylorville, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. at his residence. He was born June 11, 1984 in Joliet, IL. The Son of Keith and Janice (Root) Westbrook. He worked as a machinist and millwright at several power plants. 

He is survived by his Parents Keith and Janice Westbrook; Daughter: Aleece Jaylin Peters- Westbrook; Son: Beckham Stark-Westbrook; Brothers: Chris (Amanda) Westbrook; Keith Westbrook; Sister: Theresa Westbrook; Grandpa: Orville Root; Sixteen Cousins; Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Allen and Juanita Westbrook, Grandmother: Ada (Sedwarf) Patterson,  2 Sons Dilan and Briar Peters-Westbrook, Cousin Angela Avants , Uncle Allen Stewart Westbrook.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
