Omar W. Masters, 77, of Taylorville, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 4:10 p.m. at his residence in Taylorville. He was born July 2, 1937 in Taylorville, IL. The Son of Vernie and Wilma (Boyd) Masters. He married Gloria Keiser on July 2, 1966 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nokomis, IL. He was a retired truck driver and a Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville, IL.  

He is survived by his Wife: Gloria; Sons: Shawn (Trisha) Masters of Alaska; Rodney Masters of Cordova, TN; Bari (Jackie) Masters of Des Moines, IA; Grandchildren: Katelynn Masters, Lanie Choy, Nolan Masters, Jimmy Masters, Jessica Masters; Great-Grandchild: Emalina Choy; Sisters: Virginia Eller of Nokomis, IL, Priscilla McDowell of Fillmore, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 3 Brothers: Loren Masters; Vernon Masters, John Masters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville with Pastor Rodney Blomquist officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
