Virginia (Smith) Hardin, 77, of Litchfield, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 11:53 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born December 25, 1937 in Taylorville, IL, the Daughter of Henry and Ida (Clayborn) Pyle. She married Robert Stephens and they later divorced, and then she later married Amos Smith and he preceded her in death. Then she married Carl Hardin and they later divorced. She was a business lady and loved to feed the wildlife, her animals and to mow the grass.
She is survived by her Companion: Henry Graham of Litchfield, IL; Sons: Randy (Gail) Stephens of Litchfield, IL; Greg (Mary) Stephens of Taylorville, IL; several Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Pastor Mike Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL. There will be no visitation.
