Barbara Helen Morrissey, 72, of Kincaid, IL died at 1:43 pm Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

    She was born October 21, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of George O. and Jean Wright Meyer. On August 27, 1981 she married Thomas B. Morrissey in Tovey. Barbara had worked as a home health provider for over 25 years and had been employed at County Market for 26 years. She loved spending time at the lake and camping. She also enjoyed travelling and watching her grandchildren play in sports. She was affiliated with the Baptist Faith.

    Surviving are her husband Thomas Morrissey of Kincaid; Children: Shelby Casad of Edinburg, Rodney Hunsley and wife Kayla of Pawnee, Troy Hunsley and companion Barb Stewart of Taylorville, Jennifer Hill and husband David of Kincaid, David Morrissey and companion Tina Hamm of Taylorville, Tina Parish and wife Clara of Tovey, Cindy Morrissey and companion Denton Cash of Decatur, William Morrissey and Kiera Morrissey both of Kincaid; Brother: George Meyer and wife Fran of Morrisonville, and Sister: Lois Clower of Decatur. There are 26 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Son: Tommy Morrissey, Daughter: Tracy Schultz, Grandson, Derek Morrissey, and her Sister: Diane Isaacs.

    Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sunday, July 26, at McClure Funeral Home Taylorville. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 5:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 28, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
