Edith M. Henderson, 100 of Bolivia, IL passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 7:52 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born May 30, 1915 in Mechanicsburg, IL the daughter of Dave and Margaret (Dobson) Dillon. She married Johnnie Prior on March 29, 1933 in Mt. Auburn Christian Church and he later preceded her in death in 1961. She then Married Arthur Roy Henderson on January 9, 1971 in Springfield, IL and he preceded her in death in 2000.  She worked as a nurse’s aid in the premature baby center in St. Johns hospital in Springfield, IL.

Surviving are his Daughters: Wanda (Melvin) Howard of Bolivia, IL; Lois (Gary) Adams of Rural Mt. Auburn, IL; Patsy (Bob) Wicker of Blue Mound, IL; Grandchildren: Randy (Sandra) Howard, Kathy (Troy) Cobb, Bob (Kelley) Howard, Kerry (Jon) Sims, Terry (Kyle) Brock, Robin Adams, Johnnie Wicker, Sharon Gathard, Beth (Dan) Gregory, Tim (Michelle) Wicker; Thirty Great-Grandchildren; Twelve Great-Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Pearl Dillon of Springfield, IL; Brothers: Melvin Dillon of Kentucky, Russell Dillon of Georgia; Sister-in-Law: Sharon Dillon of Springfield, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Both Husbands, Three Sisters, Two Brothers and a Grandchild Paul Wicker.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Dan Armstrong Officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn.
