Jerry Reinders, 84 of Springfield passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 4:22 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born May 10, 1931 in Athens, IL the Son of John and Grace (Maxwell) Reinders. He married Louise Minks on May 18, 1957 in the Owaneco United Methodist Church in Owaneco, IL.  He worked as a Customer service representative and a manager at IBM. Jerry was also a Veteran serving in the United States Navy.

Surviving are his Wife Louise of Springfield, IL; Daughters: Connie Reinders of Osage Beach, MO; Debra Reinders of Phoenix, AZ; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother: Henry Reinders, Sisters: Fannie Murphy and Helen Scott.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 from 11:00-12:00 Noon at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Michael Koschmann Officiating. Burial will be in Owaneco Cemetery in Owaneco, IL with military graveside honors.
