Mr. Mark Szabo, 51, of Taylorville, IL passed away at 11:24 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at home.

He was born July 7, 1964 in Taylorville, IL the son of Joseph and Patricia (Petty) Szabo.

Mark was an attorney and worked over 25 years in the U.S. Federal Court System.  He owned Matrix Gym in Taylorville, IL.  Mr. Szabo was an excellent chef.  He loved spending time with his friends.

Surviving are his sister Diane (Dan) Muhs and a nephew Joey Muhs all of Olney, IL., an uncle Alex “Sam” Szabo of Tovey, IL., an aunt Joan Petty of Corona Del Mar, CA along with a great many cousins and a host of close friends.

As per Marks wishes, no services will be held and he will be buried by his parents in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.  Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid is assisting the family with arrangements.  On-Line condolences may be left at www.mastersonfh.com and will be forwarded to his family.
