Jimmie Lee Sager 79 of Tovey passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:53 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville. He was born on March 28, 1937 in German Township in Richland County, IL the Son of Earl and Ida (Rooney) Sager. He married Barbara Bowman in September 20, 1959 in Springfield, IL and they were later divorced.  He was a warehouse foreman and a truck driver for Prarie Wholesale in Springfield, IL for 25 years. Jimmie loved auctions, WWE Wrestling, and he was an avid Cardinal and Nascar Fan.

Surviving are his Daughter: Debbie Myers of Raymond, IL; Sons: Jimmie Sager of Florida and Rick Sager of Quincy, IL; Companion: Marilyn McCluskey of Tovey, IL; Grandchildren: Joshua Sager, Warren Myers, Mike Prince, Ryan Sager, Reese Sager, Jimmie Earl Sager and Sarah Sager; Five Great-Grandchildren; Brother: Ray (Ruth) Sager of Bloomington, IN; Several  Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter: Peggy Lee Sager-Jones, Sisters: Marie Fletcher, Mildred Fletcher, Brother: Russell Sager, Great-Grandson: Lucian Sager

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Keith Halsey Officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
