Bernard Wayne Moss Sr. Bernard was born November 10, 1927 in Decatur, IL the son of Wayne D. and Doris M. (Dalluge) Moss. He married Patricia L. Galbraith on September 4, 1970. He was a lifetime farmer in the Moweaqua area and worked for several years at A.E. Staley’s in Decatur. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict serving in the Army mostly in Korea. Bernard was a wonderful husband and father who loved his family dearly and he was dearly loved in return. He was happy and satisfied with his accomplishments in life. 

He is survived by his Wife Patricia; Son, Bernard Wayne Moss Jr. (Wife Hilary) of Rochester, IL; Daughters: Brenda Oliver of Rock Island, IL; Linda Moss of Iowa City, IA; Step Daughter: Cheryl Lawrence- Prather (Husband Richard) of Springfield, IL: Step-Daughter-in-Law: Cindy Blair of Edinburg, IL; Grandchildren: Kiley, Kelsey, and Zachary Moss of Washington State. Eli and Cody Moss of Rochester, IL; Tricia Lane (Seeman) of Fairbury, IL; Amber Howet (Husband Josh), Sean Nelson (Wife Angie) all of Milan, IL; B. Ryan Blair, Mandy Getz both of Edinburg,IL. Great-Grandchildren: Aiden, Landyn and Chloe all of Milan, IL; Karson and Keegan Getz of Edinburg, IL; Brianna Seeman of Fairbury, IL; Brylynn Blair of Edinburg, IL. Sister: Joyce Donovan (Husband Tim) of Decatur, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, one Brother Lee Moss, Step-Son: E Bryan Blair and Great-Grandson: Nicholas Seeman. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Interment will be held at Old Stonington Cemetery in Stonington, IL with military graveside honors.
