Dorothy E. Wozniak, 82 of Taylorville passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at her residence in Taylorville. She was born on October 5, 1933 in Chicago, IL the Daughter of Fred and Edith (Cooper) Vollmer. She married Russell Elias and they were later divorced and then she later married Walter Wozniak on June 23, 1972 in Addison, IL. She worked as a homemaker and she was a member of the Arch Diocese. 

Surviving are her Sons: Michael (Cathy) Elias of Fishers, IN, Richard Elias of Menasha, WI, Michael (Tamara) Wozniak of Bloomingdale, IL; Daughter: Debby (Scott) Single of Taylorville, IL, Karen (Tony) Mendoza of Elburn, IL; Fourteen Grandchildren; Eleven Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Anita Goldberg of Arizona; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, brother: Donald Vollmer. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
