Debbie Jean Durbin-Silva, 60 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 8:25 a.m. at her residence in Taylorville. She was born on May 19, 1956 in Taylorville, IL the Daughter of Vere and Lela (Norris) Durbin. She married Mell Anthoney Silva on November 16, 1974 in Taylorville. She worked as an LPN at several area hospitals and nursing homes throughout her career.

Surviving are her husband: Mell of Taylorville, IL; Sons: Anthoney Thomas (Kelly) Silva of Lafayette, LA; Christopher (Jaime) Silva of Kincaid, IL; Daughter: Noelani Mae (Ronald) Sheffield of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Larissa “Lacey”, Sierra and Zaksimus Silva; Anthoney (Kelly), Hailey, Hope and Chloe (Chris), Danielle, Feylin, Isaac, Dante, Isis, Tegan, Jack, Yazlynn, Dominick (Noelani); Sisters: Sheryl (Glen) Griffin, Delores (Richard) Wiseman and Betty (Steve) Perry all of Taylorville; Brother: Donnie (Judy) Durbin of Springfield, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents and a Grandson Dominick Sheffield.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
