Ewing Seaton, 82 of Taylorville passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 7:06 a.m. at his residence in Taylorville. He was born on October 17, 1933 in Buckhart Township, IL the Son of J. Everett and Marjorie (Stogdel) Seaton. He married Patsy Louise Hagan on January 1, 1956 in Edinburg Christian Church in Edinburg, IL and she preceded him in death on February 5, 2009. He worked as a farmer and served in the U.S. Army. He loved Fishing, Hunting and Farming. Ewing was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Rural Sharpsburg, IL.

Surviving are his Sons: David (Debbie) Seaton of Edinburg, IL; Gary (Alice) Seaton of Rochester, IL; Kenny Seaton of Edinburg, IL; Darren (Tracey) Seaton of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Josh, Blake, Suzanne, Ryann, Wil, and Elysse Seaton, T.J. (Amee) Bates, Trent Bates and Companion Nicole Thomas. Great Grandchildren: Mason and Ryan Bates. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral Services will follow on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Ted Marrinan officiating. Burial will be held in Bethel Cemetery in Rural Sharpsburg, IL.
