Brenda Huddlestun, 64 of Moweaqua passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 7:45 p.m. at her residence in Moweaqua. She was born on September 11, 1952 in Mt. Vernon, IL the Daughter of Harold and Jessie (Miner) Chapman. She married Gary Huddlestun on December 1, 1973 in Moweaqua, IL. She worked as a homemaker. Brenda was very compassionate about her family, friends, church and children. Brenda enjoyed all types of crafts especially plastic canvas and crocheting Afghans. Brenda will be missed but not forgotten.
Surviving are her Husband: Gary Huddlestun of Moweaqua, IL; Brothers: Melvin (Cheryl) Chapman of Emily, MN; David Bruce (Diana) Chapman of Moweaqua, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Great- Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, grandparents, Uncle and special uncle Hulen “Hoot” Minor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. The funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Chad Buhman officiating. Burial will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Moweaqua, IL
