Harold William Miller, 76 of Kincaid, passed away at 7:42 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Harold was born in Williamsville, IL on September 21, 1940 to Lawrence and Louise (Blackburn) Miller, after 35 years of service retired from National Energy, INC of Moweaqua.
He is survived by the love of his life of 54 years Wanda (O’dell) Miller, Children Pam Chasteen of Taylorville, Gary (Julie) Miller of Dallas City, Brenda (Kirk) Rohdemann of Blue Mound, Bill (Tracy) Miller of Kincaid, Sister Audrey Lahr of Tovey. Grandchildren Brandon Miller, Jennifer Salyers, Stephanie Watkins, Aaron Luck, Heather Agnew, Nichole Rohdemann, Billy Brunk, Hailee Chasteen, Logan Miller, Mason Miller, eight Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister: Nancy, Grandchildren Brittany Brunk, Zachary Chasteen.
Harold was a member of the Eagles Club, Moose Club, Taylorville VFW Post #4495, he enjoyed cooking, visiting all of his friends on his golf cart, never knew a stranger. He would travel miles for a good buffet. The Davita Dialysis in Taylorville became his extended family.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Following the services there will be a dinner celebration of his life at the Taylorville Eagles Club. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
