Betty Runge, 64 of Taylorville passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at _______ p.m. at her residence in Taylorville. She was born on September 5, 1952 in Taylorville, IL the Daughter of Albert E. and Mabel (Emerson) Miller. She married Melvin Runge on December 22, 1983 in Taylorville. Betty worked at Wal-Mart, memorial school on the playground, at Stonington School, Smiths Nursing Home, State of Illinois Drivers License in Springfield. She loved her family, Church friends, television, talking on the phone, flowers and the kids that she worked around at the schools for many years.

Surviving are her Husband: Mel Runge of Taylorville, IL; Daughters: Roxanne (David) Warner of Myrtle Beach, SC; Son: Andrew (Gina) Runge of Carlinville, IL; Grandchildren: Zakkary, Isaiah, Warner and Dalton Runge; Sister: Loretta Huebner of Taylorville, IL and several Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. The funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.
