Norma Jean McKinney

Norma Jean McKinney, 87 of Morrisonville, joined her heavenly family on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

 

She was born on July 22, 1929 at Morrisonville the daughter of Clarence Edward and Lillian Jane (McDaniel) Eyman. Jean married Charles E. McKinney on June 19, 1949 at the First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville; he preceded her in death on December 6, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents; Brother, Warren E. Eyman; Brother in law, William “Bill” Kent; Nephew, Benjamin Kent; Great nephew, Kinsey Muffick.

 

Jean was a 60 year member of Leslie Reddick American Legion Post 721 Ladies Auxiliary, Morrisonville United Methodist Church, Rebekah Orient Lodge and Eastern Star. She was loved by all who knew her and will be forever missed.

 

Survivors include: Son, William “Bill” McKinney of Morrisonville, IL; Grandchildren, Zachary Taylor of Ft. Worth, TX, Adam McKinney of Midlothian, TX and Taylor McKinney of Aledo, TX; Brother, Albert (Beverley) Eyman of Morrisonville, IL; Sisters, Irene Kent of Taylorville, IL and Mary (John) Harper of Assumption, IL; Sister in laws, Marie Durbin of Morrisonville, IL and Linda Bonacorsi of Taylorville, IL; Many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating. Burial will follow at Morrisonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville.

 

Memorials are suggested to American Legion Post 721, Morrisonville United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
