Cheryl Ann Izatt, 62, of Taylorville, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Born on March 11, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cheryl was the daughter of Thomas and Oneta (Queen) Quinn. Cheryl married Mark J. Izatt in 1975, and after 42 years together he preceded her in death on November 15, 2016. She recently retired from Christian County Courthouse after 27 years working in records and bookkeeping. Cheryl was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and sister and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children: Clyde (Chelsea) Izatt of Mt. Zion, and Bonnie (Doug) Hughes of Taylorville; three grandchildren: Grayden, Brystol, and Kooper Hughes; siblings: Chris (Ginger) Quinn, Cindy (Joe) Mulick, Connie (Dan) Bitney, Carolyn (Tyler) Hammer, and Celia (Steve) Montgomery; her mother-in-law, Earlene Drew; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband Mark, Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and two nieces.

A service to remember and celebrate both the lives of Cheryl and her husband Mark will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at McClure Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 – 7 p.m. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is handling arrangements.
